Get ready, Disney Dreamlight Valley players! There’s a lot of exciting content coming to the game soon and next year. Not only did they give us so many details about Wishblossom Ranch, including the release date, but they also shared the 2026 roadmap and lots of surprises. There are also some fun free items available, and we have all of the information you’ll need to get everything.
What’s the one thing everyone wants to know? The release date! November 19 is the magical day when you can add Wishblossom Ranch to your game and start welcoming new friends. There will be two versions available, the standard and Deluxe editions. If you purchase the Deluxe Edition, which I will be, you’ll receive some special bonus content. That includes 10,000 Moonstones (instead of 5,000), the Arendellian Riding Outfit, the Snowy Alpine House Style, and Sven from “Frozen!” Sven is a rideable mount, like the horses (which I’ll be talking about shortly).
This expansion will be different from the previous ones because the entire story will be available right away. We won’t have to wait for a second part to be released later.
Wishblossom Ranch will be bringing four new villagers to the valley. We already knew about Snow White and Tinkerbell from the first trailer, but in the showcase, they announced Cruella and Tigger will be added as well! And how cute is Tigger?
We already saw Maximus and had a preview of customizing horses in the first trailer, but now, we know so much more. In addition to Maximus from “Tangled,” Khan from “Mulan,” and Pegasus from “Hercules” will be available as you adventure through the story. Each one of them has their own special abilities in addition to being rideable and oh so adorable. Maximus can leap far, Khan can kick down barriers, and Pegasus can glide through special wind streams.
Besides the famous Disney horses, you’ll repair a stable where you can customize up to four unique horses. The customization tools were demonstrated in the last part of the stream, during a play-through. It looks like we’ll have a lot of good options at the start. Hopefully, that can increase later, though. Your horses will help you with everything from clearing obstacles like rocks and night thorns to digging, gardening, and just getting you around faster. They have three movement speeds, including galloping, which is faster than gliding!
What else could there be? Well, there are three biomes, a modular building set for your ranch, and new companion pets, to name a few things. The companions include the goose, skunk, and fuzzy, plump bumble bees! The biomes include the Alpine one, where the ranch is, the Cruella-themed zone, which reminds me of London, and the fairy-themed zone, where the plants and butterflies are so big to make you feel small, and there’s a Winnie the Pooh-themed honeyfall. Yeah, you read that right. Not a waterfall, a honeyfall.
In the next free update, the Fairy Godmother will be playing a big part as we help her to welcome Cinderella to our valleys! It’s wonderful to be bringing in the original princesses finally. But that’s not even the most exciting part of this update.
Do you have friends who also play Disney Dreamlight Valley? I sure do. How often have you wished you could share materials? Well, we will finally be able to! A new feature, DreamTeams, will allow you to create a community of up to 8 people. Once set up, you’ll be able to share resources and photos. Your team will need a name, motto, and icon, which you’ll choose during setup. How cool is that?
As if all of that wasn’t enough, they also shared a roadmap for 2026. Of course, it’s a teaser without specifics, so let’s break down these images.
For Early 2026, it says, “Bond over spaghetti and meatballs.” And, we’re seeing a scene that looks very much like “Lady and the Tramp.” Will they be villagers or companions? That’s the question on my mind!
Spring 2026 says, “Discover the beauty of nature alongside a free-spirited adventurer.” The image has a raccoon, floating red and yellow leaves, and a blue necklace that obviously belongs to Pocahontas. So, it would be reasonable to expect that she’ll be joining the valley as a villager and maybe a new companion pet as well in the form of Meeko the raccoon.
Finally, we have Summer 2026, which says “Embark on a mythological adventure.” There’s a pillar with a statue of Phil from “Hercules” and a pair of sandals that look suspiciously like those belonging to that demigod hero. If Hercules is coming to the valley, I hope Megara won’t be far behind. She’s fantastic!
You’re right. I did. So here we go. To wrap it up, make sure you get your freebies!
