Exciting Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Remake Teased by Edward Kenway Voice Actor

Outside in storming, lashing rain, the black flag remake is rising, anchor hungry for whales and justice, not that frame for this beautiful beauty hasn’t been worked on basically in the harbor with everything but a sign nailed to the front labeled, hey everybody! A remake is coming out! While no, Ubisoft is determined to think they can gift wrap this present into something surprising, the teasers just keep adding planks. Another hint has passed the float test.

The Black Flag Remake has been a well-known tease all the way back in 2023 with the code name “Obsidian,” along with a little note at the start of the year from Pure Arts, a distributor of Assassin’s Creed merchandise, saying “There is something going on with Edward..” before refusing to elaborate.  Now though. Now we have something that can’t quite wiggle out of the net. A lucky fan was able to get a voice recording of Edward’s voice actor, Matt Ryan, saying one thing that changes everything.

The Black Flag Remake has its newest teaser in the form of a tweet, detailing the conversation between Matt Ryan and a fan where she mentions that at a meet and greet, she was able to beat Black Flag, and he says with a smile, “Have you beaten it? Well, you might have to beat it again.” Just to stay true to his namesake, we can assume his cheeky little “There’s a reason  I say that, but I can’t say anything.”  Got to keep the big dogs on their toes, ey?

It would be a blast

The Black Flag Remake would be the best Assassin’s Creed game to make an updated version of, and no, though I want as many sea shanties that could fit into my little brain and then my playlists, but no, there are so many other reasons’ it’s considered one of the best the series, the story it tells the personalities it shows the ability to raid ships and stab a fake whale to make cool things out of.. there’s so much to explore and sea (ha) the remake thought not yet confirmed is highly likely and something to watch the forecast for.
