Fortnite Odyssey leaked for Chapter 5 Season 2 with Battle Pass skins

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 is just around the corner now, with the current season expected to end on Friday, March 8, 2024. This means that the team at Epic is gearing up for all of the new content that comes with this major update, and some of it has already been hidden in the game’s files.

Alongside all the public features in the latest Fortnite v28.30 patch notes, a series of skins and other assets have been added to the files in preparation for the new season update. This reveals the likely name for the new season, its overall theme, and one of the potential Battle Pass skins.

The first season of this chapter was “Fortnite Underground”, featuring secret vigilante networks and a James Bond-style evil organization, so what’s the next logical step from there?

That’s right, Ancient Greece.

As revealed by various Fortnite leakers, the new season is currently codenamed “Odyssey”, and the leaked skins and location assets heavily imply it will be based on Greek mythology. It’s a big step away from the recent themes, but a lot of historical settings have been requested by fans for a long time.

With the new season just a couple of weeks away, we’re sure to get some official teases and reveals very soon.
