GTA 6 trailer release time revealed by Rockstar

After announcing last month that the first GTA 6 trailer would be released in December 2023, Rockstar has specified the time of release: “Trailer 1,” as the developer called it, will drop on December 5, 2023, at 9am ET.

Here’s what that means for your time zone:

December 5, 2023, 6am PT
December 5, 2023, 8am CT
December 5, 2023, 9am ET
December 5, 2023, 2pm GMT
December 5, 2023, 3pm CET
December 5, 2023, 7:30pm IST
December 5, 2023, 10pm CST
December 5, 2023, 11pm KST/JST
December 6, 2023, 1am AEDT
December 6, 2023, 3am NZDT

That message was delivered on an image showing the palms with a trio of seagulls flying above. It looks like the sun is either setting or coming up – a sunrise seems more likely, though, since it marks a new beginning.

Rumors have long persisted about GTA 6 taking place in a modern version of Vice City, which is supported by the tropical vegetation if you really want to read so much into the image. Naturally, it could be any other city or a deliberate ploy by Rockstar to confuse people.

Whatever the case may be, we’ll probably get some answers on December 5, 2023, when the first GTA 6 trailer drops.
