Supergiant Games published Early Access Patch 2 for Hades 2, which contains tons of changes inspired by community feedback and focuses on tuning the balance and abilities of the weapons.

The Moonstone Axe got a reworked Special, which now creates a lingering barrier, while its Ω-Attack and Ω-Special channel faster. Three Nocturnal Arms can be happy with straight-up buffs: The Sister Blades, Umbral Flames, and Argent Skull all gained effectiveness, while the Witch’s Staff obtained some buffs in exchange for drawbacks in other areas.

Players will generally be able to find one additional Olympian on their runs in the future and should be able to grab an additional major reward or boon in Erebus, improving their overall power.

A host of new UI icons has been added in this update, which should help make the game feel a lot more complete visually – a very visible step forward.
