Honkai: Star Rail Introduces Hyacine – She Heals So You Don’t Have To

The Chrysos Heir of the Sky, Hyacinthia, has arrived. Who would have thought that such a sweet, gentle little girl would have such a will of steel? Personality and storylines aside, Hyacine is the missing piece for the Mydei and Castorice teams. As an HP-based, near-constant Healer, she fits in perfectly with the HP-draining attack styles.

How Hyacine Works

Hyacine is a 5-Star Wind Remembrance character who Heals and also deals a decent amount of damage. You might very well call her an Erudition/Abundance Hybrid. Her Healing scales based on HP, and she likes SPD. 1 of her Traces increases her HP and Outgoing Healing when she has over 200 SPD.

All The Heal, All The Time

Hyacine’s Skill allows her to heal the entire party. It also summons her memospirit, Little Ica. Whenever an ally, or allies, takes damage, before the next turn of anything (be it ally or enemy) starts, Ica will sacrifice a portion of its Health to heal the ally. Her Ultimate also heals the entire party. So that’s 3 different Heals altogether.

Life Hurts

The Erudition aspect of Hyacine’s Kit is tied to her Ultimate. When she uses it, Hyacine enters the “After Rain” state for 3 turns. During this time, she will increase the HP and, after she takes a turn, Ica will deal AoE Wind DMG to the enemy targets based on how much Healing both it and Hyacine have done in the current battle. The more they heal, the more DMG they do.

What To Build on Hyacine

SPD and HP are her main Stats. You want as much of them as possible. Since her 1^st Trace gives her 100% CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG is a good Substat. Since Ica’s DMG is based on how much Healing they’ve done, an Outgoing Healing Chest piece is a good option. A little Effect RES might also be handy.

Her best Cavern Relic set is the new one, Warrior Goddess of Sun and Thunder. Messenger Traversing Hackerspace is a decent backup. As for Planar Ornaments, go for Giant Tree of Rapt Brooding. The Wondrous BananAmusement Park is an acceptable 2^nd choice.

Regarding Light Cones, there are no good 4-Star options at this time. Her personal Light Cone is the best 5-Star choice, but you can also make do with Memory’s Curtain Never Falls from the Herta Store.
