MLB The Show 25 uses an automatic “Live roster”, letting you use updated rosters in Exhibition modes. However, if you want to use an Updated Roster in Franchise, just follow the steps below:
- Go to Settings
- Select “File Management”
- Select “Load Live Roster”
- Save the Roster when loaded

When creating a new Franchise, use the option that says “Current Roster”
- This will use your Live Roster
This process will allow you to use the most updated rosters for MLB The Show 25’s Franchise Mode. Keep in mind that the roster cannot be updated in an already active Franchise. For example, the Los Angeles Angels traded for Angel Perdomo on March 17th. So if you started a Franchise on March 16th, you’ll need to start a new one if you want to see that change.
Another thing to keep in mind is player injuries. Any player currently dealing with an injury may be on the bench and you may be unable to play with them. Thankfully, MLB The Show 25 does offer options to edit injuries. So make sure you take that into consideration before picking a team to play with.

Solving Henrietta's Map in Hogwarts Legacy
Henrietta’s Hideaway is a location you’ll be visiting more than once in Hogwarts Legacy. There are multiple quests to be solved in this area, including Find Rococo, Solved by the Bell, an Astronomy Table, an Infamous Foe, and this quest, Hippogriff Marks the Spot. You’ll start this quest in an entirely unrelated location, and even when you’re in the right place, the answer isn’t clear. How to find Henrietta’s Map – Hogwarts Legacy The first thing we need to do is start the quest, if you haven’t already. You can begin this quest at Poidsear Castle – it’s a map sitting on a desk in a tent near the back of the castle. The Side Quest icon should be hovering over it to draw your attention. Solving Henrietta’s Map – Hogwarts Legacy Once we have the map, we need to solve it. First is quite obviously a literal map, with an X marking the spot, and an illustration of where we need to go. It is Henrietta’s Map, so it makes sense that this quest would take place in Henrietta’s Hideaway to the South of Manor Cape. There’s also a Hippogriff surrounded by flames, with a flame and ice icon near them. The flame obviously indicates the use of your fire spells, and the ice icon hints at using Glacius. Hippogriff Marks the Spot solution – Hogwarts Legacy Right, so we need to enter Henrietta’s Hideaway. Once you arrive at the castle you’ll find a dungeon entrance down to the right side of the ruin. Inside there’s a quick and easy puzzle involving fire and ice spell blocks. As the main door opens, you will come face to face with a Hippogriff statue surrounding by burning braziers. First you will need to extinguish the flames around the Hippogriff. Next, you will need to light only the braziers indicated by Henrietta’s Map. These are as follows, when facing the Hippogriff: Rear of the Hippogriff Left of the Hippogriff Right of the Hippogriff Right front side of the Hippogriff Once those braziers are lit, a wall will open up at the back, revealing a chest with an item inside. Hippogriff Marks the Spot rewards – Hogwarts Legacy For your efforts you will receive Treasure-Seekers Gloves as an appearance option. Nice if you’re after the Treasure-Seekers appearance set, I guess.
Quinn Ewers’ Camp Performance Forces Dolphins Into Tough QB Decision
Being the backup quarterback isn't necessarily the most exciting role for anyone, but for a team like the Miami Dolphins, where starter Tua Tagovailoa has suffered four concussions since entering the NFL in 2020, it could be vital. As of now, a clear battle for that spot has formed between rookie seventh-round pick Quinn Ewers and veteran former first-round selection Zach Wilson as they go head-to-head. Of course, training camp is where these kinds of questions can be solved, and so far, it appears that Ewers has done a good job in putting his best foot forward. On Friday, David Furones of the Sun Sentinel gave a very positive update on the young quarterback, stating, "Dolphins rookie QB Quinn Ewers had a strong third practice of training camp. Made several impressive, big-time throws." The update sparked conversations among many fans, both supporting Ewers and a serious showing that there's interest in seeing who comes out on top. "Show ‘em, Quinn," said one comment. "He just does a lot of things (anticipatory throws, timing throws, MOTF accuracy, etc.) that fit this system much better than what Wilson does. I think with refinement and development we could have a backup in Miami that can operate the offense efficiently…finally," said another. "Love to hear it!" a third added. A fourth stated, "I'd be surprised if he's not the backup.." "I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Quinn Ewers has the physical tools to stick at the next level. It’s just a matter of shaping the rest," a fifth continued. "That’s QB2 potential QB1 in the future Glad we drafted Ewers," said another. Another big test for both Ewers and Wilson will be during the Dolphins' three preseason games, as the coaching staff will get a much better look at how these two perform during live matchups. Luckily for both, though, being the backup is all they're truly fighting for, as Kyle Crabbs of A to Z Sports predicts that each will make the final 53-man roster, with cuts needing to be made by Aug. 27.
Steelers' Mike Tomlin Sees A Ton Of Promise In Potential High-Impact Rookie
The Pittsburgh Steelers are entering the 2025 season with a new-look roster on the offensive side of the ball. The quarterback position has turned over once again, and DK Metcalf is now the top wide receiver in Pittsburgh after the organization decided to acquire him and then trade away George Pickens. Jonnu Smith has also entered the picture on offense, while Jaylen Warren will be taking over the duties as the lead running back. This is his first time taking on that role, as Najee Harris was the bell cow in Pittsburgh for the last four seasons and he never missed a game. Warren will be the main focus at running back, but the Steelers did a good job of filling out that room as a whole. Signing Kenneth Gainwell in free agency was a good way to bring a veteran presence into the room, and adding Kaleb Johnson in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft was an exciting pick with a ton of value. Head Coach Mike Tomlin was asked about the rookie running back following practice on Thursday, and he had nothing but good things to say about Johnson. "He does, he's highly conditioned and that helps development," Tomlin said. "When you're in really good shape, you can take additional reps and reps equals [getting] better. And so he handled the first leg of it. He's come in really good shape. He's really engaged and obviously he's got some talent. You guys saw that today." Tomlin said this when asked whether or not Johnson has a high floor as a rookie running back in the NFL, and the coach was clearly impressed with the way the rookie was prepared coming into camp. He also seems to know the playbook pretty well. It is hard to tell much from the early training camp practices, but he certainly stood out. The staff in Pittsburgh clearly has high hopes for Johnson, which could lead to more playing time early on. Johnson will begin the season behind Warren, but the two are expected to share the workload in some regard. The rookie has a high ceiling, and Pittsburgh is going to want to take advantage of the entirety of his cheaper, rookie deal. Many have speculated that Johnson will be the lead back by the time the 2025 season is over, with Warren returning to the role of being a third down back, similar to what he did when Harris was on the team. When Pittsburgh initially selected Johnson in the spring, some hated on the pick due to his slower 40-yard dash time. However, the back looks extremely fast on the field, and fans should get a better idea of the kind of player he can be when the Steelers put on the pads next week. Steelers’ Running Back Situation Will Be Interesting To Monitor Gainwell will likely be the third running back on the depth chart during the 2025 season, but he should have some packages and plays where he is the primary focus. He is dangerous with the ball in his hands, especially in the passing game. He and Warren have a similar skill set, while Johnson stands out in the trio. In addition to those three backs, Pittsburgh also has Cordarrelle Patterson on the roster. It was thought that he would be released by this point, but he remains in Pittsburgh for now. He could be cut at the end of camp, as it seems he is the clear fourth running back on the depth chart and he was one of the worst kick returners in the league during the 2024 season. It is known that Offensive Coordinator Arthur Smith likes him and his versatility on offense. It’s his ability to play special teams as well that could keep him on the roster in 2025. Rangers Sign Former Stanley Cup Champion to Tryout Agreement
The New York Rangers are adding to their forward depth ahead of their upcoming training camp. The Rangers are entering a new chapter of their organization under new head coach Mike Sullivan. After missing the postseason last year, the organization is trying to rebound and respond accordingly in 2025 and 2026. Former Stanley Cup champion forward Conor Sheary is the latest player to join the new-look Rangers. The veteran forward agreed to a professional tryout agreement (PTO) with the club and will look to earn an NHL deal with his performance in training camp and the preseason. Sheary is a veteran of 593 NHL games. Originally an undrafted free agent, he signed with the Pittsburgh Penguins after completing his collegiate career. Following a year with the Penguins' AHL affiliate, he forced his way onto the NHL squad after posting 36 points in his first 30 games of the 2015-2016 season at the AHL level. His debut NHL season went better than ever expected, and he was a key part of the Penguins' lineup that won back-to-back Stanley Cups in 2016 and 2017. Sheary's coach at the time, both at the AHL and NHL levels, was Mike Sullivan. Now, he'll get the chance to reunite with the coach under whom he won two championships. In addition to playing for the Penguins, Sheary has played for three other NHL franchises. The Pens dealt him to the Buffalo Sabres before the 2018-2019 campaign, but he would return to Pittsburgh the following season at the trade deadline. After his second stint with the Penguins, he joined the Washington Capitals. He played three seasons in Washington, D.C. before landing with the Tampa Bay Lightning, where he spent the past two years. Over his 593 career games, he's compiled 124 goals and 143 assists for 267 points. His best NHL season came during the 2016-2017 campaign, his second in the league. He scored 23 goals and added 30 assists for 53 points in 61 regular-season games.
