Well, Indigo Park fans, UniqueGeese and the dev crew just gave us something to chew on at MomoCon—and it might be a peek into what Chapter 2 is really bringing. While they didn’t drop too many hints, they did give us something! What was it, you may ask? Well, what we got was a small clip during the Q&A panel. And yeah, it’s got our theory gears turning.
So here’s what went down: Mason (aka UniqueGeese) showed a short 2D animation of Rambly during the Q&A, and in it, Rambly casually drops that he’s not allowed near the Oceanic Odyssey section of the park. Why? Too much water.
His exact words imply that if the player character wants Rambly to join them there, they’ll have to sneak him in. And that might be more than a cute line—it could be a major clue about the environment in Chapter 2.
Let’s break it down. Rambly being “not allowed near water” makes us wonder if the Oceanic Odyssey area is literally submerged—or at least partially flooded. With all the park’s electronics being the only way Rambly can communicate with the player, that could be a real danger to an AI character like him.
So what does that mean for gameplay? Possibly some kind of swimming or water-navigation mechanic! Maybe even needing to drain water to access certain zones. And sure, the official trailer showed mostly dry areas—but that could be just the tip of the iceberg!
Also, let’s not forget about Finley. Our favorite sea-themed nightmare mascot looked way more menacing in his updated design. If any part of Chapter 2 takes place underwater? Yeah, we’re definitely not alone down there!
So, is Chapter 2 giving us a full-on aquatic horror experience? We’ll have to wait and see. But this MomoCon teaser definitely points to some big changes. Between possible underwater zones and Rambly being on thin (or wet?) ice, we’re hyped to see what’s next.
Keep your eye on UniqueGeese for more clues for future gameplay and lore drops!
