LCK 2025: GenG Versus KT Game Five – Cuzz Helps KT Destroy GenG and Qualifies for Worlds

Bdd and deokdam combined in the fourth game of the series to bring us to Silver Scrapes. Even though they have surprised everyone, many still expected GenG to close it out. However, the surprises continued in game five of the LCK Playoff Series. They managed to take down GenG off the back of Cuzz’s Jungle canyon. KT has secured a spot at the World Championship with the victory over GenG.

LCK 2025: Bdd Picks Another Niche Champion

For two consecutive games, Bdd has locked in a niche champion. He will be playing Lissandra in the final game of the series. On the other side, Ruler is on his famous Kalista, a champion that used to be banned against him even when she was not in the meta.

The first blood for this game was the latest in the LCK for this year. With no kills on the board, GenG soared ahead with lane advantages. The top and bot lanes secured leads through better laning and lane swap timings. KT is staring down the barrel of a GenG that is far ahead of them. Team fights will need to be the way that KT finds a way back into the game.

LCK 2025: Cuzz Carries KT’s Teamfights

With a World Championship qualification on the line, KT had to respond to GenG’s lead. The team fights would be the way that KT did so. Cuzz always managed to find the best Wukong ultimates to find angles on the GenG carries. Even in a fight where PerfecT died first, KT still managed to trade evenly with GenG. The game came down to an Elder Drake flip where neither Canyon nor Cuzz could get into the pit. deokdam secured the last hit on the Elder Drake, which guaranteed that KT would win the game, the series, and advance to the World Championship.

KT Advances to the World Championship

KT has shocked the world by defeating GenG in this vital series. With the victory, they have earned their spot at the World Championship and advanced to the Upper Bracket Final of the LCK Playoffs. They await the winner between T1 and Hanwha Life. GenG is knocked down to the Lower Bracket.
