GenG has struggled to find their footing in this LCK Playoffs series. They could have lost this series 3-0 if it were not for their heroics and T1’s mistakes in the first game. The draft for T1 hinges on them snowballing the game early. However, on their attempts to snowball, GenG reacted perfectly every single time. The game went from bad to worse as T1 tried to claw their way back into the game. GenG held them at bay and sent the series to Silver Scrapes.
We have seen plenty of Blitzcrank performances in the past where they carry the game. Duro is one of the players who has that potential. The draft is ideal for Blitzcrank with multiple hook targets. The only champion on T1 that can tank a hook is Doran on Rek’Sai. Oner’s Sylas might be able to if he can get ahead in the game.
T1 Composition
GenG Composition
The composition for T1 must find a way to snowball a lead to close out the series. Ruler laning into Doran makes it significantly more difficult for T1 to garner a lead on their Varus and Renata. T1 tries to force a fight, but Faker’s ultimate location gets him picked off before he can make an impact on the fight. GenG now has a lead on a composition that scales better in the game.
Duro’s Blitzcrank was unfair in game four. Almost every hook that he threw out landed on an enemy champion. One hook equaled one kill. With the game rapidly moving out of T1’s grasp, they tried to force plays consistently. The perfect representation of T1’s desperation was Gumayusi flashing into GenG’s base to try and kill Canyon. They needed all the gold they could get to try to claw their way back into the game, but they had no chance.

Player of the Game – Duro
A vital improvement point for GenG in the fourth game of the series is Canyon. He has been lackluster throughout the LCK Playoffs. It was the first time that he popped off in a game, and it might spell problems for T1 in game five. The draft may decide the result of the series.
