LCK 2025: GenG Versus T1 Game Three – Faker Shoves T1 to Match Point
- LCK 2025: Week 14 Day Four HLE Falter While DNF Dominate BRO

T1 dominated the second game to even up the LCK Playoffs Lower Bracket Semi-Final series. Oner’s early pathing set them up for success. T1’s Mid-Jungle of Oner and Keria helps them build leads across the map while preventing GenG from making plays. The game hangs in the balance, with Ruler being a danger point for T1. A misstep from Chovy on mid-wave allows Faker to catch him with a Seismic Shove. T1 collapses and ends the game to go 2-1 up.

LCK 2025: T1 Match GenG’s Champions

The draft for both teams featured common champions. Most of the draft for T1 was responses to the champions that GenG has. Ruler’s Xayah is the focal point for GenG’s draft. If he can garner a lead, T1 might struggle to dismantle them in teamfights.

GenG Composition

  • Kiin – Gwen
  • Canyon – Pantheon
  • Chovy – Ahri
  • Ruler – Xayah
  • Duro – Neeko

T1 Composition

  • Doran – Jax
  • Oner – Wukong
  • Faker – Taliyah
  • Gumayusi – Sivir
  • Keria – Karma

LCK 2025: Canyon’s Inactivity Gives T1 Space

In the four junglers left in the LCK Playoffs, Canyon is having the most struggles. Every other jungler is proactive in the early games, while Canyon focuses on farming. Canyon had Pantheon, who can dominate early. Oner has shown the power of Pantheon. Because of Canyon’s lack of proactivity, T1 was able to win lanes in isolation. Faker had the first impact of the game, opening up with his ultimate to give Doran First Blood.

LCK 2025: Ruler is Powerful

Ruler found himself around 30 cs behind Gumayusi in the mid-game. After he got the shutdown gold on his opposing AD Carry, GenG fed Ruler all the gold possible to make him strong in the game. He always hit item spikes before Gumayusi, making it difficult for T1 to ever look for a teamfight. Ruler is the counter to the dive from T1, and without a mistake from GenG, they might struggle to win. It would be Chovy who makes the pivotal mistake. He got caught by Faker’s Seismic Shove, which led to their collapse.

After a comfortable win in game two, T1 managed to clutch out to go 2-1 up in the series. They could have won the series 3-0 if they had avoided the pivotal mistakes. They are one victory away from advancing in the LCK Playoffs. The win will relegate GenG to the fourth seed at the World Championship.
