LCK 2025: Gumayusi Starts the Series on Kai’Sa

One of the criticisms of T1 and Gumayusi is that they rarely put him on Kai’Sa, Ezreal, or Zeri. For the first game of this series, Gumayusi will start on Kai’Sa. The rest of the T1 draft is engage or frontline, so the win for T1 hinges on Gumayusi being in a position where he can carry his team over the finish line.

LCK 2025: HLE Finds Wins in the Early and Mid Game

At almost every contest, HLE came out on top. Delight not only helped Zeus survive a dive but also get a kill. Peanut stole away the second Drake by walking up and winning the smite battle. HLE was also able to punish T1 in the side lanes, keeping themselves ahead of the curve. T1 managed to find a couple of kills and put themselves on Cloud Soul point.

LCK 2025: Gumayusi Fights Back, But HLE is Dominant

When it came to the team fights, HLE got the better of T1 at every turn. The dives from T1 allowed them to kill one of the carries, but the multiple threats made it impossible for T1 to clean up. Gumayusi had one heroic play in defence of T1’s nexus, but all that did was delay the inevitable. HLE seems to have returned to their LCK Cup form, and that is a terrifying prospect for a weakened T1.
