LCK 2025: KT Versus GenG Game Three – GenG Completes the Revenge Arc

KT has their backs against the wall in the LCK Lower Bracket Final series. They will need to pull off miracle after miracle to get a reverse sweep. GenG denied KT any chance to recover in the series. At every turn, someone stepped up on the side of GenG to carry on a fight. They proved why they have been the best team in the world for most of the year.

LCK 2025: The GenG Classic of Maokai Jungle with AD Mid

For the longest time last year, GenG dominated in the LCK with Maokai Jungle. The predominant reason was because of Chovy’s excellence on AD mids. No one could match the GenG mid laner until the Grand Finals. Zeka stood tall in that situation. KT has Ziggs for deokdam, which has been successful for them in recent series. Can they play around the AP bot laner to stay alive in the series?

LCK 2025: GenG Matches At Every Turn

KT continued to make plays, but GenG managed to match up to them. GenG emerged with the lead at almost every play. Every player on GenG was outplaying their counterparts as they head towards a 3-0 series victory. Cuzz managed to keep the game relatively close with two Drake steals in a row and finding Ruler to give KT a chance in a teamfight.

LCK 2025: KT Falters at GenG’s Dominance

As with the rest of the series, KT never got a chance to outplay GenG. Their best attempts in fights ended up as trades with GenG. The multiple points of engagement from GenG meant that KT could never dodge GenG, and they bled out in the game. It seemed like KT used all their steam in the first series and had run out, even against HLE.

GenG Advances to Another Grand Finals

Questions surrounded GenG, whether they would make another LCK Grand Finals after they lost to KT 3-2. They could have been out in their previous series, having been down 2-1 against T1. They managed to survive that scare and get revenge on KT. While KT could keep up their performance against HLE and today against GenG, these series show just how impressive their victory was. They won against improbable odds. GenG faces HLE in the Grand Final in a rematch from last year’s Summer Playoffs Final.
