NS comes into the first LCK Play-In match looking for their first series win in months. BRO needs to shake off their inconsistencies to stand a chance against NS. Game one was a dominant victory for NS. They controlled the game from start to finish, with BRO only having one good moment thanks to a Croco counter gank. Will NS keep going, or can BRO steady the ship?
Despite banning Wukong, BRO gave over Pantheon in exchange for a nerfed Rumble first pick. Lehends picked Neeko for the first time in his career. BRO went for a single-target focused dive composition, while NS had an AOE team fight composition.

While Hype moved towards the top lane for an early swap, Pollu stayed under the tower to assist Morgan’s teleport. Pollu missed a hook on the potential dive and then failed his hexflash over the wall to put pressure on the NS botlane. All early objectives go to NS, despite BRO trying to contest the first Drake with a level three Nautilus. NS built an early gold advantage heading into the mid-game.
The mid-game continued in NS’s favor until a failed dive attempt on Morgan’s Rumble. They could not kill Morgan in time before Croco arrived to get a double kill. The momentum gained allows BRO to get the Rift Herald. Instead of contesting, NS takes all the outer turrets, and the Herald value for BRO is low. BRO tries to kill Kingen, but the tanky Ornn lives long enough for the Neeko and Miss Fortune combination. NS’s dominance continued as they got Mountain Soul at 24 minutes and ended the game shortly after.

Player of the Game – Lehends
Despite a dominant performance from NS in game one, the series is far from over. We have seen many dominant games not translate for the rest of the series. BRO must shake off the result for a chance to recover in the rest of the series.
