After a two-day break, the LCK returns for week 11 of Korean League of Legends action. The circus that is the Rise group continued today, with Dplus struggling to fix their mistakes against DRX. They won the series, but the same question marks remain. T1’s incredible form stayed in their series against KT Rolster, where they seemed to be in cruise control for the entire match.
Initial Prediction
DRX 1-2 DK
Result
DRX 1-2 DK
Summary
Dplus continues to struggle in playing out clean games. While they win the series, there were too many close calls for a team that should dominate the Rise group. Credit must go to DRX, and especially Andil, who was exceptional in the game one win. Unfortunately, DRX were met with the power of Showmaker in game three, who almost single-handedly dismantled the backline of DRX. If DRX can take the performance from the first game of the series into the rest of the LCK season, they have a chance to qualify for the Play-In stage. DK, on the other hand, must fix their ever-present issues if they want a shot at qualifying for the World Championship later this year.

Summary
The series was a stomp. T1 controlled the game almost from start to finish. The only bright light was Peter and deokdam getting the 2v2 kills in game one. T1 dominated after that moment. They always engaged first in team fights, catching KT off guard. Doran, Keria, and Oner led the way, often finding the angles to ensure T1 crushed KT. Peter had a great game one, but tailed off in the second, leaving deokdam alone way too many times. It left the KT AD carry as non-existent in the second game. T1 had a couple of happy accidents, but they never gave significant advantages away.
