We are talking about San Diego Comic-Con, the biggest event for geeks and nerds in America. The panels, big reveals, costumes, and exclusive items are all a part of this always exciting event that we at Nerdist look forward to covering extensively this year. If you’re heading out to Cali for some fun, sun, and cool merchandise, then you’ll want to stop by LEGO’s absolutely awesome booth #2829 in Hall H. There are several new LEGO sets making their debut for SDCC 2025, including this retro and really rad Game Boy one.

Let your inner gamer get into the brick building fun that’s a 1:1 replica of the iconic handheld gaming system. The set design also has the Game Pak slot and comes with The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening and Super Mario Land Game Paks. And, when you’re done with your build, you can display it with the classic Nintendo start screen or one from either of the interchangeable Game Paks.

What Is the Release Date for the LEGO Game Boy Set? 

The LEGO Game Boy set retails for a respectable $59.99 and is currently available for pre-order. The set will launch on October 1, 2025.
