LoL Esports Week 5 Results Recap: Another First Stand Represenative Eliminated

For the most part, the first week of the LCK Cup playoffs went as expected. That was until T1 faced FearX in Round 2. The Group Elder first seed dominated the series and knocked the World Champions to the Lower Bracket. FearX will face Gen.G Esports in the Upper Bracket Final for a spot at First Stand.

Invictus Gaming survived a scare after they dropped down to the Lower Bracket. A 3-0 victory against Oh My God ensured they could continue their campaign. After winning the Demacia Cup, the team’s results have fallen drastically. Team WE narrowly missed out on the opportunity to qualify directly to the Knockout stage, losing 3-2 to Top Esports.

LoL Esports: LCP Results

In their first LCP split, Ground Zero knocked the defending LCP champions out. They defeated CTBC Flying Oyster 3-1. As a result, there will be a new First Stand representative for the LCP. GAM Esports is another victim to fall out of the playoff race. Team Secret Whales and Deep Cross Gaming continued to show their dominance of the LCP in 2026. Both teams will face off next week in the Upper Bracket Finals.

LoL Esports: CBLOL Results

The most recent LTA South Champions, Vivo Keyd Stars, can not defend their title. Leviatán managed to defeat them 3-1. The other LTA champions, FURIA, remain in the competition after they managed to overcome Leviatán in the following round. FURIA will need to continue their run for a chance at competing at First Stand.

LoL Esports: LCS Results

Cloud9 continued to assert themselves as one of the best teams in the LCS. They handily took down FlyQuest to earn a spot in the Upper Bracket Finals. Team Sentinels, on the other hand, needed to win in five games against Disguised. Sentinels will face Cloud9 in the Upper Bracket Final. During the series, Disguised brought out Nasus in the top lane to win the third game of the series.

LEC Delayed

The LEC playoffs did not begin last week. The matches only started on Monday. Valorant utilized the LEC Studio over the weekend. There are multiple days of LEC action in the upcoming week, with the region finally playing a best-of-three series.
