New Games Coming to and Leaving Xbox Game Pass for June 2025

Every month, Xbox Game Pass rotates the available games for players to download, and as we rapidly approach summer, and by proxy, the month of June, we can expect another rotation of limited-time games. While we may miss the games that are being removed, we can also look forward to more entertaining and engaging games that might hold our attention. Directly from the source of MSN and GameRant, here’s a list of the games that are being added to Game Pass, and which ones are being taken off rotation.

New Games Coming to Xbox Game Pass

If you’re interested in the classic 1990s platformer, Gex, and the following sequels, then you might want to wishlist the Gex Trilogy — a bundle collection of all three games. This trilogy is set to go live on June 16th on Game Pass.

For a much bigger release, fans may be excited for the Xbox release of one of Hideo Kojima’s best games, Death Stranding, which is available to download now. The game was initially launched on Xbox in November 2024; however, now players will have the chance to play the game through Game Pass to try it out for themselves.

One of Rockstar’s hit games, Red Dead Redemption 2, also comes to Xbox Game Pass and is currently available for download. Red Dead Redemption 2 has earned its marks and still brings in a crowd, and now others can play it more accessibly with the Game Pass subscription.

Lastly, fans can download Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater (Classic), as it is available on Game Pass at the moment.

For smaller games, here’s what players can expect to release soon.

• FBC: Firebreak – June 17
• Lost in Random: The Eternal Die – June 17
• Rematch – June 19
• Against the Storm – June 26

Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass

On a more bittersweet note, after May 31, these games will be taken off of Game Pass and will instead be available for purchase. If you are interested in any of these games, be sure to download them now before they go back on the shelves.

The following games:

• Cassette Beasts
• Humanity
• Remnant 2
• Slayer X: Terminal Afterthought: Vengeance of the Slayer

These are expected to be removed from Xbox Game Pass!

Along with Firework (a Chinese horror puzzle game), will be leaving the PC Game Pass.

Other than that, these are the games we have currently and what we are expected to lose. Still, we do not know every release, as more news will likely be coming in the following month. On June 8th, we can expect the Xbox Showcase, where we will receive more information and what other games to look forward to. However, at the moment, this is what we know and what we can play now, for the games that are already available for download.
