The dust is settling on Overwatch 2’s new game mode, Stadium. While players are still figuring out what is optimal, there are plenty of builds that players can use to have fun and achieve victory in Stadium matches. Beginning with the Tank Heroes, we look at one build you can use in your matches to dominate the opposition in style.
Overwatch Stadium D.Va Build

D.Va appears to have the most struggles out of all the Tanks in Stadium. The lack of high ground-centric and short maps and other Tank Heroes makes it significantly more difficult for D.Va to succeed. The two recommended builds either lean into a Defence-Matrix-focused build or a damage-focused build. The builds by themselves seem to struggle. By combining them, D.Va becomes unkillable and a Damage threat.

Overwatch Stadium Junker Queen Build
Junker Queen’s solo carry potential and survivability in traditional Overwatch 2 is her highlight. In Stadium, her capabilities in these areas increase tenfold. The amount of overhealth she can gain during a fight is incredible. The overhealth, alongside the healing from her wounds, means taking her down takes an entire team. The build below has us focus primarily on our Carnage as the predominant source of damage and sustain while resetting our Commanding Shout in late-game scenarios.
-
Powers
-
Round 1
- Soaring Stone – Carnage becomes a leaping strike if you jump during the cast time.
-
Round 3
-
Chop Chop – Carnage gains an additional charge, but its cooldown reduction per hit is reduced to 1s.
-
Round 5
- Blood Crazed – Rampage and Carnage give 15% of Max Life as Overhealth per hit.
-
Round 7
-
Let’s Go Win – Eliminations reset the cooldown of Commanding Shout.
-
Items
- Scav Scraps
- Thick Skull
- Booming Voice

Overwatch Stadium Orisa Build
In traditional Overwatch 2, Orisa has the most survivability for any Tank Hero. Stadium builds further into that, making her unkillable even in the face of an entire team. Building around our Fortify and having our cooldowns available as often as possible will turn this Horse into a monster.
-
Powers
-
Round 1
-
Centripetal Charge – 25% Ultimate Cost Reduction. After using Terra Surge, reset your ability cooldowns.
-
Round 3
- Restortify – While Fortify is active, heal for 10% of your max Life every 1s.
-
Round 5
- Hooves of Steel – After Fortify ends, gain Shields equal to 50% of the damage received during Fortify, and it resets when you next use Fortify.
-
Round 7
- Factory Reset – While Fortify is active, Javelin Spin and Energy Javelin gain a 25% Cooldown Reduction.
-

- Solar Regenergy

Overwatch Stadium Reinhardt Build
One of the most terrifying Reinhardt builds focuses on his Charge, which outputs a ridiculous amount of damage. If most Tanks get pinned by Reinhardt with this build, they will struggle to live. Of course, we can not make Reinhardt entirely squishy, so adding in some survivability is vital to ensure he lands his Charge and stays healthy afterward.
-
Powers
-
Round 1
- Magma Strike – If a Fire Strike is cast twice within 2s, the second strike leaves a trail of lava that burns enemies for 50% of the Fire Strike damage.
-
Round 3
-
Vroom Boom Boom – During Charge, colliding with a wall triggers an explosion that deals 30% of Charge’s pin damage.
-
Round 5
-
Wilhelmwagen – While Barrier Field is deployed, you heal for 15% of the damage it mitigates and gain 30% Move Speed.
-
Round 7
-
Shield Stampede – +50% Charge Knockback Power. During Charge, automatically deploy Barrier Field.
-
Items
- Rocket Strike
-
Champion’s Kit
- Nano Cola
- Ogundimu Reduction Field
- Rustung Von Wilhelm
- Martian Mender
Overwatch Stadium Zarya Build
Zarya has plenty of flexibility with her builds. She can either enable her teammates, combining to be a terrifying threat, or become the focal point herself. The build we suggest focuses primarily on Zarya but has some elements that will enable her teammates.
-
Powers
-
1st Round
- Containment Shield – Barrier heals 25 Life, increased by Energy, and grants 20% Move Speed while active.
-
3rd Round
-
No Limits – Maximum Energy increased to 150. Energy always decays above 100 Energy at a 150% faster rate.
-
5th Round
-
Pre-Workout – Gain Weapon Lifesteal and Ability Lifesteal equal to 20% of Energy.
-
7th Round
