Persona 3 is one of the most beloved game series out there, gaining a loyal fanbase internationally with about  23 million copies sold worldwide with each induvial game having their points for praise, Persona 3 is no exception and is a even a contender for the best game in the six mainline game series, with people praising the depth of it’s storyline and charterers. It’s no surprise that the remake, Persona 3 Reload, is getting a lot of attention as well, with the release of the demo showing up randomly on the PS store, just to keep us on our toes, huh?

A Proper Remake

Any remake comes with the concern of the developers changing or ruining what made the game a good candidate for a remake in the first place, which is understandable considering the way most remakes are handled now. No one wants their favorite characters to be made into a cardboard cutout of how they used to be, cheapened for the grind of their namesake. Persona 3 Reload, though, looks as if the developers do care about the quality of their game, getting high reviews and good ratings, seeing as you can now hang out with your shadow slayers for extra depth, as just one of many improvements, without changing the main storyline.

What’s In The Demo?

The Persona 3 demo has you step into the shoes of an unlucky transfer student thrust into an unexpected fate within this world, where they have to deal with entering the hidden hour between day and night. You will awaken a hidden power and chase the memories of the dark with your friends. So basically, the first two months of the main game, with all of those enhancements  It’s also worth noting that your demo’s saved data can be transferred to the full game as long as it’s updated to the latest version.

Something To Try

If you have the kind of money or simply want to get into the persona universe and don’t know where to start, Persona 3: Reload is a good bet to look into to, it brings out all the good within the its’ original and uses that to push the game up even higher, which is impressive seeing as the base game is already a solid game on it’s own. It’s a rare treat to see in a remake, so why not get the version that has highlighted the flaws and touched up on them while still honoring the point of the first? If you’re unsure, try out the demo! See for yourself if they made good calls.
