Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC: how to evolve Kubfu into Urshifu

Among the many legendary Pokémon added in the Indigo Disk DLC is the star of Sword and Shield’s Isle of Armor DLC, Kubfu. This adorable martial arts teddy bear can be caught and trained up to be a solid partner, however, what you really want is to have it evolve into Urshifu. Like in Gen 8, it requires one of two unique items, and there is a way to get your hands on them in Scarlet & Violet. We’ll explain how to get the Scrolls of Waters and Darkness so you can evolve Kubfu. You have two choices of how to evolve Kubfu, as you can give it either the Scroll of Waters to get Rapid Strike Style Urshifu, or the Scroll of Darkness to get Single Strike Style Urshifu. Aside from a different battle pose, the difference between the two is their signature move. Rapid Strike gets a Water-type 25 base power move that hits three times, with all three hits being guaranteed critical.
