Pokémon Go Adamant Time: all challenges and tasks

Kanto has returned to Pokémon Go during the Adamant Time event running from December 11, 2023, at 10am local time to December 15, 2023, at 8pm local time, bringing many Gen 1 icons back into the spotlight and temporarily changing up the Pokémon Go Ditto disguises.

Adamant Time additionally features a great bonus, granting triple catch XP, as well as an update to Lucky Trades. The number of guaranteed Lucky Pokémon players can receive from trades is now 25 instead of 15. Plus, starting at the time of the event, all Pokémon in storage since 2018 are guaranteed to become Lucky Pokémon until that limit has been reached.

Aside from all of that, Adamant Time comes with a series of tasks and challenges to fulfill for an even greater boost in XP and other resources. Here are all Adamant Time Research Tasks and Challenges.

Pokémon Go Adamant Time Catch Up: all Timed Research Tasks

The Adamant Time event has an unusual series of Timed Research Tasks in tow.

2023 Level 30 Challenge

This Timed Research will be available until December 31, 2023, at 11:59pm local time, so you’ve got the remainder of the year to get it wrapped up. Since this is a task revolving around levels, it’ll basically provide free items to those among you above the required milestones.

Reach Level 10: Stardust x1,000
Complete all tasks in this step: Razz Berry x10, Nanab Berry x10, Pinap Berry x10

Step 2/3

Reach Level 20: Stardust x2,000
Complete all tasks in this step: Incense x1

Step 3/3

Reach Level 30: Stardust x3,000
Complete all tasks in this step: Premium Battle Pass x1

2023 Level 40 Challenge

This Timed Research will be available until December 31, 2023, at 11:59pm local time as well, so the same conditions as for the Level 30 Challenge apply.

Complete all tasks in this step: Premium Battle Pass x5, Ultra Ball x50

Adamant Time: Friendship Challenge

Another Timed Research that will be available until December 31, 2023, at 11:59pm local time, this time designed to provide you a boost of XP.

Make 2 new friends: XP x5,000
Make 3 new friends: XP x5,000
Complete all tasks in this step: XP x5,000, Stardust x2,500, Ultra Ball x25

Pokémon Go Adamant Time: all Field Research Tasks

Field Research Tasks are available from spinning PokéStops during the event and will remain available for you to complete even after Adamant Time ends. Here are the event-exclusive tasks:

Catch 3 Pokémon: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle
Catch 5 Pokémon: Abra, Machop, Geodude, Gastly
Catch 10 Pokémon: Vulpix, Ponyta, Krabby, Voltorb
Walk 2 km: Vulpix, Ponyta
Trade a Pokémon: Krabby, Voltorb

All of these rewards may appear as Shiny Pokémon.
