After you finish the main story of The Indigo Disk in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you can invite special coaches to come to the school. These offer players a number of amazing rewards, but what is particularly special is the Pokémon they will trade with you at the end. Each Pokémon comes with a special mark, which is exclusive to that Pokémon, telling you which coach you received the ‘mon from.
Here’s everything you need to know about the special coaches’ trades and rewards.
The opportunity to invite Katy is available as soon as you finish the main story. She costs 200 BP to invite each time, meaning you will need 600 BP in order to complete her questline. The first time you invite her, she will ask you to battle, and if you win, you will receive 3x Shakers of Sweet Herba Mystica.
After the first invitation, you do not need to battle her again, but doing so will earn you some nice rewards. These are random but can be money items, vitamins, or candies. On the third invitation, she will offer you a female Combee, you can trade her any Pokémon you like in return.
You can invite Brassius as soon as you finish the main story. He costs 200 BP to invite each time, meaning you will need 600 BP in order to complete his questline. The first time you invite him, he will ask you to battle, and if you win, you will receive the Surrendering Sunflora Case for your Rotom phone.
After the first invitation, you do not need to battle him again, but doing so will earn you some nice rewards. These are random, just like Katy’s subsequent rewards. On the third invitation, he will offer you a Sunflora, and you can trade him any Pokémon you like in return.

Kofu is available as soon as you finish the main story like the other gym leaders. He costs 200 BP to invite each time, meaning you will need 600 BP in order to complete his questline. The first time you invite him, he will ask you to battle, and if you win, you will receive the 3x Shakers of Spicy Herba Mystica.
After the first invitation, you do not need to battle him again, but doing so will earn you some random rewards. On the third invitation, he will offer you a Veluza, and you can trade him any Pokémon you like in return.
The coach everyone wants to invite, Larry, is available as soon as you finish the main story, like the other gym leaders. He costs 200 BP to invite each time, meaning you will need 600 BP to complete his questline. The first time you invite him, he will ask you to battle and will use a Normal-type team. If you win, you will receive the 3x Shakers of Salty Herba Mystica.
After the first invitation, you do not need to battle him again, but doing so will earn you some random rewards. On the third invitation, he will offer you a Dudunsparce, and you can trade him any Pokémon you like in return. Don’t worry, Larry will still have his iconic Dudunsparce on his team if you trade.

It should be noted that while the other Gym Leaders will engage in single battles, Ryme maintains a doubles team. On the third invitation, she will offer you DJ G Rave, which is a Greavard, you can trade her any Pokémon you like in return.
Tulip is available as soon as you finish the main story, just like the other gym leaders. Much like other special coaches, she costs 200 BP to invite each time, meaning you will need 600 BP in order to complete her questline. The first time you invite her, she will ask you to battle, and if you win, you will receive a Starf Berry.
After the first invitation, you do not need to battle her again, but doing so will earn you some nice random rewards. On the third invitation, she will offer you a Flittle, and you can trade her any Pokémon you like in return.
Grusha is available as soon as you finish the main story, like the other gym leaders. He costs 200 BP to invite each time, meaning you will need 600 BP in order to complete his questline. The first time you invite him, he will ask you to battle. If you win, you will receive the 3x Bottles of Carbos.
After the first invitation, you do not need to battle him again, but doing so will earn you some random rewards. On the third invitation, he will offer you a Cetoddle, and you can trade him any Pokémon you like in return.
Rika is only available after you have completed the questline for at least five special coaches. You will know you have done this when at least five coaches have a gold ring around them. She costs 200 BP to invite each time, meaning you will need 600 BP to complete her questline. The first time you invite her, she will ask you to battle. If you win, you will receive an Ability Patch.
After the first invitation, you do not need to battle them again, but doing so will earn you some random rewards. On the third invitation, she will offer you a Paldean Wooper, and you can trade her any Pokémon you like in return.
Poppy is only available after you have completed the questline for at least five special coaches. You will know you have done this when at least five coaches have a gold ring around them. She costs 200 BP to invite each time, meaning you will need 600 BP to complete her questline. The first time you invite her, she will ask you to battle. If you win, you will receive 10x Rare Candy.
After the first invitation, you do not need to battle them again, but doing so will earn you some random rewards, usually candy. On the third invitation, she will offer you a Tinkatuff, and you can trade her any Pokémon you like in return.
Clavell is only available after you have completed the questline for at least three special coaches. You will know you have done this when at least three coaches have a gold ring around them. He costs 200 BP to invite each time, meaning you will need 600 BP in order to complete his questline. The first time you invite him, he will ask you to battle. If you win, you will receive the Clive Wig for your wardrobe.
After the first invitation, you do not need to battle him again, but doing so will earn you some random rewards. On the third invitation, he will offer you a Pawmo, and you can trade him any Pokémon you like in return.
Your homeroom teacher, Jacq, is only available after you have completed the questline for at least three special coaches. You will know you have done this when at least three coaches have a gold ring around them. He costs 200 BP to invite each time, meaning you will need 600 BP in order to complete his questline. The first time you invite him, he will ask you to battle. If you win, you will receive Hexagonal Glasses, like the ones he wears for your wardrobe.

Raifort is only available after you have completed the questline for at least three special coaches, including trading. You also need to complete all of her classes at Naranja/Uva Academy for the chance to invite her. She costs 200 BP to invite each time, meaning you will need 600 BP to complete her questline. The first time you invite her, she will ask you to battle. If you win, you will receive a Comet Shard.

Ryme’s sister Tyme is only available after you have completed the questline for at least three special coaches. The first time you invite him, he will ask you to battle. If you win, you will receive 3x Bottles of PP Up.

She costs 200 BP to invite each time, meaning you will need 600 BP in order to complete her questline. The first time you invite her, she will ask you to battle. If you win, you will receive 3x Bottles of Protein.
After the first invitation, you do not need to battle her again, but doing so will earn you some random rewards. On the third invitation, she will offer you a Meditite, and you can trade her any Pokémon you like in return.
Hassel is only available after you have completed the questline for at least three special coaches. You also need to complete all of his classes at Naranja/Uva Academy for the chance to invite him. He costs 200 BP to invite each time, meaning you will need 600 BP in order to complete his questline. The first time you invite him, he will ask you to battle. If you win, you will receive the Moved to Tears emote.
After the first invitation, you do not need to battle him again, but doing so will earn you some random rewards. On the third invitation, he will offer you an Arctibax. You can trade him any Pokémon you like in return.
Saguaro is only available after you have completed the questline for at least three special coaches. You also need to complete all of his classes at Naranja/Uva Academy for the chance to invite him. He costs 200 BP to invite each time, meaning you will need 600 BP in order to complete his questline. The first time you invite him, he will ask you to battle. If you win, you will receive 3x Shakers of Sour Herba Mystica.
After the first invitation, you do not need to battle him again, but doing so will earn you some random rewards. On the third invitation, he will offer you a Hattrem. You can trade him any Pokémon you like in return.
Miriam is only available after you have completed the questline for at least three special coaches. You also need to complete all of her bonding events at Naranja/Uva Academy for the chance to invite her. She costs 200 BP to invite each time, meaning you will need 600 BP in order to complete her questline. The first time you invite her, she will ask you to battle. If you win, you will receive the Aye Aye, Cap’n emote.
After the first invitation, you do not need to battle her again, but doing so will earn you some random rewards. On the third invitation, she will offer you a Mareanie, and you can trade her any Pokémon you like in return.
Paldean Champion Geeta is only available after you have completed the questline for at least eight special coaches. You will know you have done this when at least eight coaches have a gold ring around them. She costs 200 BP to invite each time, meaning you will need 600 BP in order to complete her questline. The first time you invite her, she will ask you to battle. If you win, you will receive Elite Gloves for your wardrobe.
After the first invitation, you do not need to battle her again, but doing so will earn you some random rewards. On the third invitation, she will offer you a Glimmet, and you can trade her any Pokémon you like in return.
After you have completed these 20 coaches, you will see that there are three more slots available. You cannot unlock these, as they are not available in the game yet. It has been speculated that the three coaches will be Nemona, Penny, and Arven from the main storyline.
Thanks to dataminers, we know that an epilogue story for the DLC will be included later. This epilogue will feature the upcoming mythical Pokémon Pecharunt. It’s believed that you will be able to unlock these three following the completion of the epilogue.
You can invite the secret boss to battle you by paying 10 BP to the contributions. As soon as you contribute the BP the battle will start, so make sure your team is ready. You can unlock this option by inviting all of the Gym Leaders, Rika, Poppy, Clavell, Jacq, and Geeta at least once.
They will invite you into battle, and if you win, they will trade you a shiny Blitzle for any of your Pokémon.
