It’s an exciting week for pocket monster enthusiasts as Pokémon Scarlet & Violet – The Indigo Disk DLC will be released, rounding out the announced expansions for the open-world titles. In this content pack, fans can expect to see some of their most ardent wishes fulfilled: You get to freely fly around Paldea, directly take control of Pokémon and explore the wilderness with them, and encounter mighty Legendaries out in the open.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet – The Indigo Disk DLC is scheduled to be released on December 14, 2023. Nintendo has not revealed an exact time for the launch yet, though going by the previous DLC’s release we’re estimating it will be available at 10am JST. That’d be great news, since the new content would then be available on December 13, 2023, in the US.

While there have been exceptions in the past, there usually aren’t any preloads on the Nintendo Switch eShop – you’ll very likely need to download Pokémon Scarlet & Violet – The Indigo Disk DLC after it has been released in your region at the corresponding time above.
