Congratulations on cutting through zombie hordes, biking around the ruins of a nuked Raccoon City, and curing the RE Universe’s poster boy!!! So…now what? Well, you’re not going to simply exit Resident Evil Requiem and shut everything down. With every Resident Evil game comes goodies, challenges, and trophies you can unlock. Don’t just shut it down while you wait for the DLCs to come out!
The game holds a multitude of collectible items you can find among its gory halls. Strap your holster back on and start hunting for those charms and chachkies. You’ve faced those mutanted nasties already, so you know you can focus on finding the Raccoon in the pile of rocks. Maybe you didn’t find all the coins to unlock all the sealed items. Did you get the Chinese Take-Out charm? Find all the needed tools to unlock and gather all the items you missed in the first run.
Since day one, gamers have developed thousands of modifications you can apply to the game. You can dress Grace in a Lady Dimitrescu as she sneaks around corners with a Mindcraft axe. Give Leon a Golden Skin Requiem and a snappy suit to match as he faces Zeno. Don’t want to deal with The Girl? Well, how about replacing her with a Xenomorph from “Alien” to make Grace’s time at the Rhodes Hill Care Center worse? The selection and choices are endless and rich in opportunities.
How fast can you complete the game? Will you just locate the items you need to progress through, or will you kill every single zombie along the way? Have you tried to make a complete playthrough without getting killed? Do multiple runs and set challenges for yourself to test your prowess against the swarm. Are you gonna speedrun all the difficulties?
There are standard trophies you get when you play through the story of Requiem. But, more trophies can be unlocked if you replay it, intending to get all the achievements. Craft every single item for Grace or Leon that they can, take out both of the singers in Rhodes Hill, set zombies on one another, or find all collectible trinkets in the game.
Whether it’s for relearning the story, speedrunning, or just gocking at Leon, it’s a phenomenal adventure dripping with horror, action, and atmosphere. Take a closer look at the environments, check out every zombie’s habits in Rhodes Hill, and/or see if you can headshot all the dogs during the motorcycle chase. Replaying a story and a detail-rich game always unveils some hidden detail you missed the first time around.
