Silent Hill f has had a successful run so far, smashing records and receiving overall good reviews from players and critics. As a beloved franchise going 26 years strong, the series has produced so many icons, from Pyramid Head to murderous nurses. The devs saw fit to include certain easter eggs and hidden details in Silent Hill f, to pay homage to previous games and celebrate the series throughout the years. Here are some of the easter eggs scattered throughout the map you can find.

The UFO Dog

For some reason, it’s become tradition for Silent Hill extra endings to feature an alien in some way. During the credits of Silent Hill f’s UFO ending, it features a Shiba Inu in an alien spaceship.

To get the UFO ending in Silent Hill f, you have to collect Great Space Invasion posters scattered throughout the map, then at one point you will be able to pick up a lightsaber as a weapon. This appears in Silent Hill 3, used by Heather.

The Giant Kokeshi Doll

The giant Kokeshi doll is a reference to Silent Hill 4, at the hospital, when you encounter a giant head of Eileen, her eyes tracking your every movement.

White Claudia

The White Claudia is a reference to the first Silent Hill game. Essentially, it is a flower that causes visions that allow you to speak with yourself. It is inferred that the pills Shu gives us at the beginning of the game are actually the White Claudia.

The Steel Pipe

The steel pipe is a staple in the Silent Hill series. It’s been the starter weapon in most Silent Hill games; it is now considered an easter egg.

The Middle School

Schools are always a good place to get scared, especially in the Silent Hill franchise. Silent Hill 1, though it is set in America, features a school with a Japanese-style school layout. Odd, but with this game, a very fitting easter egg to come across.

Locked and Unopenable Doors

It’s a common occurrence, coming across a few locked doors here and there in horror games. It adds to the suspense. Silent Hill is known for this, and in this new installment, it pays homage to the act of being stopped by a locked door, which again was a frequent occurrence in previous games.

Radios in Silent Hill f

You can’t have a Silent Hill game without radios. Radios signify the beginning of a nightmare that our main characters will be experiencing, usually playing a crackling sound. The appearance of the radio in Silent Hill f was a no-brainer.
