As you explore the Art Deco-inspired world of Golden Ridge in The Outer Worlds 2, you’ll stumble upon a unique side quest called ‘The Pursuit of the Partite Pentaptych.’ This mission tasks you with locating five distinct Mural pieces scattered across the region. Finding the first piece automatically begins the quest, but the game offers little guidance on where to find the rest. This guide will walk you through the location of all five Mural pieces to help you complete the collection and earn your reward.

Mural Piece 1: Alexandra Station

This is often the first Mural piece players will discover. Alexandra Station is located right next to your ship’s landing pad on Golden Ridge, making it almost impossible to miss. You will likely walk right past it as you descend to the planet’s surface for the first time. If you happen to miss it on your way down, simply take the lift back up from the ground level. When you exit the lift, turn right, and you will see the Mural fragment waiting for you in the station. Your companions may even point it out.

Mural Piece 2: Tram Station by Guardian Estates

Your next stop is Guardian Estates, located in the western part of Golden Ridge. As you approach the estate’s main courtyard, you will see two paths. The path on the right leads up into the estate itself, while the one on the left takes you to a dilapidated tram station. Be prepared to face some Scrappers and other hostiles in this area. Once you’ve cleared them out, head into the tram station. The Mural piece will be on your left as soon as you enter.

Mural Piece 3: Tram Station near the Decommissioned Autonomous Extractorium

Also situated in western Golden Ridge, this Mural is found near the Decommissioned Autonomous Extractorium. This location is not far from where you can recruit the companion Aza. The area is heavily populated by Glorious Dawn cultists, but they tend to stay clear of the tram station itself. To find the Mural, make your way into the back section of the main Extractorium building.

Mural Piece 4: Tram Station at N-Ray Range

You will naturally come across this Mural piece while progressing through the main story quest, ‘On the Trail of the Traitor.’ This questline leads you through the N-Ray Range, a large area filled with enemies. Fight your way through the location until the quest gives you the option to take an elevator back up to the Golden Ridge surface. As soon as you step out of the lift, make an immediate right. You’ll enter a small tram station where the fourth Mural is displayed directly in front of you.

Mural Piece 5: Tram Station at Alexandra Monastery

The final Mural is located at the Alexandra Monastery, which you will visit during the finale of the ‘On the Trail of the Traitor’ quest. The monastery is situated above an area called Matriarch’s Mercy. To find the entrance to the tram station, head to the southern side of the large, central courtyard that features a pagoda-like structure in its center. The Mural piece will be inside.

Quest Rewards

Once you have collected all five pieces, ‘The Pursuit of the Partite Pentaptych’ will be complete. For your efforts, you will unlock the Art Enthusiast Perk. This is a five-tiered perk, with each tier unlocking as you collect a Mural piece. The final tier grants you +10% experience from kills made by your companions. As an added bonus, the completed Mural will be proudly displayed in the central room of your spaceship, the Incognito, serving as a permanent trophy of your artistic hunt.
