Load up your party with Pals that can take advantage of this weakness, and you’ll have a much easier time capturing Dazzi without being electrocuted into smithereens.

Pro tip? Look up specific ground-types like Surfent Terra if you’re struggling to find any and stock up before heading out.

How to Catch Dazzi Without Losing Your Mind

Alright, now you’re ready to face off against this grinning little gremlin. But capturing one may take a bit of patience (and possibly some expletives). Here are the steps to make it painless-ish:

1. Scout the Area: Dazzi spawns frequently near the Sand Dunes Entrance and around the Duneshelter zone. Take your time and scout the area so you don’t miss it, have observation on lock for this hunt!
2. Pack Plenty of Catching Supplies: It should go without saying, but make sure you’re stocked with loads of resources to capture Pals successfully. Running out mid-fight? Rookie mistake (unless the it’s particularly stubborn).
3. Use Ground-Type Pals Strategically: Start the encounter with a ground-type Pal to exploit its electric-type weakness. Take some of its HP down but don’t knock it out completely (unless you’re into self-sabotage, then you do you).
4. Be Careful of Groups: If you see more than one Dazzi (wonder if a group is called a Dazziling…moving on!), proceed with caution.
