Alright, let’s get this show on the road! You’re blazing through Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, leaving your opponents in a cloud of dust, but you keep seeing these shiny, elusive collectibles taunting you from the corner of your eye. That’s right, I’m talking about the Red Star Ring. These little beauties aren’t just for show; they’re your ticket to snagging some extra Donpa tickets and asserting your dominance as the ultimate Sonic racer.

But let’s be real, some of these rings are hidden in places so sneaky you’d think Dr. Eggman placed them himself. Fear not, speed demon! I’ve put on my detective hat, chugged a Chaos Emerald smoothie, and found every single one of them for you. Let’s dive into the Wisp Grand Prix and grab every last Red Star Ring.

Wisp Grand Prix: Red Star Ring Locations

The Wisp Grand Prix is where things start to get a little tricky. Unlike the more straightforward Donpa Grand Prix, this circuit has a few rings that are downright devious. There are 15 rings in total, with five scattered across each of the first three races. Ready? Let’s roll!

This industrial playground is full of split paths and tempting shortcuts. It’s easy to get tunnel vision and miss a valuable Red Star Ring. Keep your eyes peeled and follow these steps to collect all five.

  1. Right at the start, you’ll hit a set of split ramps. You know what to do. Veer to the right ramp to snag the first ring. It’s an easy grab to kick things off.
  2. Okay, circle back to those same ramps. This time, take the left path. The second Red Star Ring will be floating in the air, just waiting for you to jump through it. Simple!
  3. After you zoom past that big, beautiful rocket, get ready for a sharp left turn. Hug the inside of the corner, and you’ll drive right through the third ring.
  4. This next one is a classic misdirection. Immediately after grabbing the third ring, look for a lower track section to your left and drop down. It’s a path most racers will miss, but you’re not most racers. Your reward is the fourth Red Star Ring.
  5. You’re on the home stretch! On the final turn before you cross the finish line, there’s a ramp that sends you flying over the water. Hit that ramp with some style to grab the fifth and final Red Star Ring for Metal Harbor.

Sand Road Red Star Ring Guide

Welcome to the desert, where pyramids hide more than just ancient mummies. Sand Road is a mix of tight corridors and open paths, but a couple of these rings are playing hard to get.

  1. As soon as you enter the massive pyramid, you’ll see two ramps. Take the left ramp to grab the first Red Star Ring of this course.
  2. For the second ring, ignore the ramps entirely. Stay on the lower path inside the pyramid. You’ll find it sitting on a boost pad just before the two paths merge back together.
  3. Final lap only! This is where it gets spicy. After you exit the pyramid, a boat transformation ring will appear. The third Red Star Ring is located right inside it. Don’t miss your chance!
  4. Shortly after leaving the pyramid, the path will split. Go left and stick to the right side of this path. You’ll get on a wooden section where the fourth ring is just hanging out.
  5. As you approach the final turn, look for a caterpillar Badnik. The fifth Red Star Ring is right next to this little guy. Scoop it up and speed to the finish!

This track is a sensory overload of bright lights, escalators, and, you guessed it, cleverly hidden collectibles. A few of these are final lap exclusives, so you’ll need to stay sharp until the very end.

  1. Right after the starting line, you’ll see a green escalator trying to tempt you to the higher level. Ignore it. Stay on the ground floor, and a second escalator will appear shortly after, allowing you to ramp right into the first Red Star Ring.
  2. Final lap only! Take the first escalator you see after the start. On your last lap, a brand new ramp will appear on the right side where the paths merge. Launch yourself off this ramp into a secret cinema area. The second ring is waiting for you at the end of this path, probably with some popcorn.
  3. After flying across a massive gap, the path will split with green escalators. Take the left path to easily grab the third ring.
  4. Final lap only! You need to be on the second floor for this one—it’s the path with the pink floor. A new area will open up on the right. Make a sharp right turn into this opening to find the fourth Red Star Ring. It’s a sneaky one!
  5. On the last curve before the finish line, don’t just follow the track. Turn left into the dining area. You’ll slow down a ton if you don’t have a boost, but the prize is the final Red Star Ring of the Wisp Grand Prix.

Now that you’ve pocketed all 15 rings, you can race through the Wisp Grand Prix with the smug satisfaction of a true completionist. Enjoy that sweet bonus of Donpa tickets!
