KT Rolster became the first team to qualify for the Worlds Bracket Stage. They defeated Top Esports 2-0. Many have doubted whether KT deserves to be a 3-0 team. Their previous wins came against Movistar KOI and Team Secret Whales. CTBC Flying Oyster had a chance to follow them, but lost out to Anyone’s Legend 2-1. KT needs to prove they deserve their spot, while CFO aims to make history.

Worlds 2025: KT Rolster Versus CTBC Flying Oyster Schedule

KT and CFO begin their series at 12:00 AM PT (8:00 AM CET). Who will join GenG Esports in the semi-finals?

Worlds 2025: KT Rolster Versus CTBC Flying Oyster Head-to-Head and Match History

KT and CFO have not played each other once in the history of the two teams.

KT went 3-0 in the Swiss Stage without dropping a game. They faced MKOI, TSW, and TES on their qualification run. CFO began the Swiss Stage at 2-0. They beat Fnatic and T1 to reach that position. They then lost 2-1 and 2-0 to AL and Hanwha Life Esports before defeating FlyQuest 2-0.

Champions to Look Out For

Sion is going to be a pivotal champion that KT needs to keep their eyes on for the series. CFO’s initial three victories came with Sion in the top lane. KT might either ban it for the rest of the series or try to pick it early.

The concern for CFO will be Bdd’s champions. Azir and Taliyah are dangerous to give over to the Korean mid laner. Zoe is another champion that Bdd could pick. The last game he had on Zoe was against GenG, where he almost single-handedly carried KT to victory.

Bdd and Cuzz Dominance

The pivotal players for KT are their Mid-Jungle. Whenever they have found success as a team, Cuzz and Bdd have been at the forefront. They were the reason why KT were able to upset GenG during the LCK Playoffs. During Worlds, we have seen teams try to keep Bdd quiet in lane, but it has not been successful. CFO has the best chance out of most, with JunJia and HongQ being the best players on the roster. Doggo may have had the most clipworthy moments, but JunJia and HongQ have been consistently good.

Can CFO Continue to Make History

The last APAC team to qualify for a Worlds semi-final was Taipei Assassins. TPA went on to win the tournament. That was thirteen years ago. CFO has already made history by being the first APAC team in ten years to qualify for the Bracket Stage. They have possibly the best chance to do so. While KT is not a guaranteed victory for CFO, they are an easier opponent than the likes of GenG and HLE.

Worlds 2025: KT Rolster Versus CTBC Flying Oyster Prediction

KT 2-3 CFO

KT has not played a stage game in almost two weeks. Gauging their form is nearly impossible. They also had an easy road to the quarterfinals. Neither team should have a significant advantage in the series. Given that CFO has had more game time, they should be favored. The strengths and weaknesses for both teams are identical. The best players are in the Mid-Jungle, while the Top and Support for both teams are often the weak point.

GenG Esports Awaits

The winner of the series has a tall order in front of them. The LCK first seed has looked in dominant form since their loss to AL. KT has done the impossible before during the LCK Playoffs, but neither will be favored against GenG.
