Four Worlds teams are winless during the Swiss Stage. Those teams are Vivo Keyd Stars, PSG Talon, Movistar KOI, and Fnatic. As a result, the teams are one series loss away from being eliminated from the tournament. All of their matches from this point onwards are elimination best-of-three series. VKS will face PSG, while KOI takes on their LEC fellow LEC representative FNC. The winner will stay alive for another chance in the 1-2 bracket.

Worlds 2025 Swiss Stage Day Five Schedule

The first elimination bo3 begins at 1:00 AM PT (10:00 AM CET). VKS and PSG will start the day, followed by the LEC matchup.

Worlds 2025: Vivo Keyd Stars Versus PSG Talon Prediction

VKS 2-1 PSG

Both teams have had okay early games, but crumble in the mid-game. VKS have had easier opponents, having not faced an LPL or LCK team, while PSG played against the LCK first and second seed. That should give PSG the advantage in theory. However, VKS has a higher ceiling than PSG. Mireu is the focal point of this team and will often carry if he has the resources. It is unlikely that Maple will be able to keep him quiet in the laning phase. Karsa has also put a focus on ganking side lanes as opposed to mid, which does not impact VKS, especially if their target is Boal.

Worlds 2025: Movistar KOI Versus Fnatic Prediction

MKOI 2-0 FNC

When these teams met during the Summer Playoffs, MKOI had the advantage. FNC were able to take games at that time, but given their form at Worlds, that is looking unlikely. FNC has been lifeless in their previous series. MKOI is also a team that collapses in the mid-game due to mistakes, even if they have the advantage. Their game against KT Rolster was a perfect example where they threw an unlosable game on Atakhan. FNC is not a team that will punish those mistakes from MKOI, so they should be able to win the series and progress in the Swiss Stage.

Danger Awaits in the 1-2 Bracket

For the winning teams, their stress will not be over. After the matches are complete, there will be a draw for the next round of matches. The 2024 Worlds Finalists are in the 1-2 Bracket, making the draw a concern for the winners moving forward.
