Of the five regions in the Worlds Swiss Stage, only one of them went winless on day one. That was the LEC. While some expected a potential 0-3, the way in which it happened has left a bad taste in fans’ mouths. Movistar KOI threw away a guaranteed victory over KT Rolster, while G2 Esports and Fnatic drafted compositions that gave them little chance to win. Heading into day two, the LEC is guaranteed a win, but at a cost.
The second day of Worlds Swiss Stage action begins at the same time. Match one starts at 10:00 PM PST (7:00 AM CET, October 16th). All matches will have a short break between them.
Today is the second last day where the matches are Best of One. Teams with a 1-0 record have a chance to put themselves on the brink of qualification, while 0-1 teams look to avoid the dreaded 0-2 scoreline.

With the LEC and LTA finals rematches in round 2 of the Swiss Stage, both regions are guaranteed a win. Heading to 2-0 can make all the difference for teams, while being 0-2 puts your back against the wall for three series in a row. One LEC and LTA team will be 0-2. There is a chance that those teams will battle to stay in the tournament.
