LOVB Madison’s second season is rapidly approaching, with less than one month left before first serve. With the college season nearly over, and the Major League Volleyball draft already complete, players out of eligibility are looking into what options they have to continue their careers.
League One Volleyball (LOVB) is an option in the United States for players, but the league is highly competitive. That said, LOVB Madison recently gained a huge addition as they added 6’4″ former Nebraska Middle Blocker Rebekah Allick to their roster.

LOVB Madison adding Rebekah Allick is somewhat surprising. The highly decorated Cornhusker grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska and one would have expected her to join LOVB Nebraska. Following Nebraska’s loss in the NCAA tournament, her post game press conference went viral, in which Harper Murray stepped up and discussed Allick’s legacy at the University.
Allick will become the second former Nebraska middle blocker on Madison’s roster, with Callie Schwarzenbach being the other.

Outside of Allick and Schwarzenbach, other middle blockers on Madison’s roster include Anna Hall, Annayka Legros, and Ana Beatriz Correa. Hall and Beatriz Correa are returning players, both of whom carved out significant roles during LOVB’s inaugural season.
