Aces conclude final back-to-back series of the season Sunday

After suffering a 111-58 loss to Minnesota on Saturday the Las Vegas Aces fall to 14-14 as they take on the Golden State Valkyries (13-13) in their final back-to-back series of the season.

The last time the Aces played against Golden State, they edged out the Valkyries 104-102.

Las Vegas is led by powerhouse three-time reigning MVP A’ja Wilson who is averaging 22.1 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game.

Jackie Young has come alive in the post-all-star half of the season. Young is averaging 17.8 points per game and shooting 50.8% from the floor and 6.8 assists per game.

The Aces have pulled a switch in the starting lineup the last two games in starting Kierstan Bell and having Jewell Loyd come off the bench.

The Aces are a game and a half behind the Valkyries in the Western Conference standings.

The Valkyries will be without Kayla Thornton for the remainder of the season due to a knee injury.

Tiffany Hayes and Veronica Burton are filling in the gaps left by Thornton. Hayes is averaging 12.0 points per game, while Burton is averaging 10.7 points per game.

In the 2025 season, the Aces have averaged 98.5 points per game, the highest scoring average against any team.

Following this game, the Aces will then meet the Valkyries on their home court in San Francisco on Wednesday, August 6 at 7pm PT.

The game will air locally on Vegas 34 and will be streamed on NBA TV.
