
Fans rejoiced as the Las Vegas Aces’ 2026 schedule was released, following concerns about an ongoing WNBA and players impasse that still has not reached an official agreement. Without one, it could cause a shutdown and cancel the 2026 season. The release of the schedule gives fans hope that the season will not be canceled.
May 9 is the official opener for the reigning champions, who will defend home court against their 2025 Finals opponent, the Phoenix Mercury. It is a strong way to start the season, as both teams will look to set the tone early in a budding rivalry.
Proceeding to June 2, the Aces play their first Commissioner’s Cup game against the Los Angeles Sparks. They have seven total games in the Cup, competing for a championship and bonus money, eventually leading to their final Cup game against the Mercury.
On August 23, the Aces will pack their bags and head to Vancouver, British Columbia, where they will face the Toronto Tempo. Lastly, the Aces end their regular season the way it started, facing the Mercury in Phoenix.
Fans can only imagine how good this season is going to be, with standout performances from key players this offseason. Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray dominated the Unrivaled league, while Cheyenne Parker-Tyus and Megan Gustafson have looked unguardable overseas. Fans cannot wait to see the Aces’ dynasty continue its march through the WNBA.
