Aces Looking for Revenge to Start the Season

The WNBA season is upon us! The highest scoring team in the WNBA for the last five seasons is ready to go on a title run.

The Las Vegas Aces come into this game looking for a revenge to start the season.

The Aces came up short last season against the Liberty. The two teams met in the 2024 WNBA Semifinals where the Liberty put an end to the Aces attempted three-peat run, winning the series, 3-1.

Reigning league MVP A’ja Wilson has had a most impressive run thus far in her career in 2024.

Wilson averaged a career and league-high 26.9 points, 11.9 rebounds, and a career-best 2.6 blocks per game. Last season, Wilson made improvements in her game in every statistical area.

Last season was the first season that Wilson averaged a double-double throughout the season. She also finished second in voting for Defensive Player of the Year.

The Aces went 27-13 in the regular season.

The Las Vegas Aces and the New York Liberty square off on Saturday, May 17 at 1pm ET/4pm PT at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.

The game will be televised on ABC and available to stream on ESPN+, Disney+, WNBA League Pass, and Fubo.
