The Las Vegas Aces (4-4) host the Dallas Wings (1-10) at home on Friday, June 13 at 7pm PT. The game will be televised nationally on ION.
The Aces come into this game looking to get back on track after two straight losses, most recently, a 97-89 loss to the Los Angeles Sparks.
Jackie Young tied her career-high, scoring 34 points to lead the Aces and Chelsea Gray added 28 points, but it was not enough to push the Aces to a win.
Chelsea Gray went 44% from the three-point line over the last four games. A’ja Wilson leads the Aces in scoring, rebounds, and assists averaging 20.9 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game.
After suffering a head injury with 1:17 left in the third quarter, A’ja Wilson is listed as doubtful for Friday’s game.
Dallas comes off of its sixth loss of the season, falling to the Phoenix Mercury 93-80. Rookie Paige Bueckers is coming off of a stunning 35 points performance against the Mercury in her first game back since being in concussion protocol (May 29).
All-time, the Aces lead the Wings 42-36, is 24-16 at home, and the Aces are 6-1 in Commissioner’s Cup play.
The two teams will meet three more times this season, once at home and twice on the road.
The Aces then complete their homestand against Phoenix on Sunday afternoon at 3pm PT. The game will be locally televised on Vegas 34.
