The Las Vegas Aces are well on their way to a playoff run as they take on the Chicago Sky in the second game of their three-game road trip on Monday, August 25 at 5pm PT.
The game will be televised locally on Vegas 34 and available for streaming on WNBA League Pass and NBA TV.
The Aces have won 12 of the last 13 games and are on the hunt for their eleventh straight win against Chicago. Las Vegas has the league’s best record post All-Star break.
Las Vegas is currently in 3rd place in league’s standings after a thrilling win against the Washington Mystics on Saturday, August 23.
Aces center A’ja Wilson leads the Aces in most statistical categories this season. She is averaging 20.4 points in her 8-year career against Chicago. Jackie Young is averaging 12.8 points, while Chelsea Gray is averaging 12.1 points against Chicago all-time.
The Sky have lost 8 out of their last 10 games and they have only won two games since returning from the All-Star break.
Angel Reese leads the Sky. Reese has missed 10-games with a back injury, but she leads the league in rebounds averaging 12.2 rebounds per game and leads the team in scoring averaging 14.6 points per game.
This will be the first matchup between Aces coach Becky Hammon and former Aces assistant/head of player development and current Sky head coach Tyler Marsh. Marsh coached under Hammon and helped lead the Aces to back-to-back championships.
Las Vegas is 26-21 against Chicago all-time and 13-11 on the road.
The Aces conclude their three-game road trip against Atlanta for the second time this season on Wednesday, August 27 at 4:30pm PT at the Gateway Center Arena. The game will be shown on Vegas 34 and streamed on WNBA League Pass and NBA TV.
