After getting a battle with Indiana on Friday night, the Las Vegas Aces are looking for a possible trip to their third WNBA Finals in four years.
The Aces are looking to close out the series on Sunday, September 28 at noon PT on ABC.
The Fever kept the game close for three quarters, but the Aces gained momentum to pull away with an 84-72 win to go up 2-1 in the series.
In the closing the quarter, the Aces ramped up their defense to stall the Fever’s efforts at obtaining a win.
The Aces are led by four-time MVP A’ja Wilson. Wilson is averaging 23.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.5 blocks, and 2.2 steals in the 2025 playoffs.
Aces spark Dana Evans continues to be a force on both sides of the ball. Evans has scored in double-digits for three-straight games in the 2025 postseason. She is averaging 11.3 points and is one assists away from tying her career playoff high.
NaLyssa Smith came up big in game 3, scoring 16 points and a playoff career-high 4 blocks in game 3.
The Aces held Kelsey Mitchell to just 30.8% shooting from the field. Odyssey Sims was held to just 2 points after scoring 17 and 18 points in the first two games of the series.
Should the Aces advance to the WNBA Finals, game 1 will be played on Friday, October 3. If the Aces do not close out the series in game 4, game 5 will be played on Tuesday, September 30.
