Las Vegas Aces forward A’ja Wilson made an impression Sunday as she helped lead her team to a much-needed 89-81 win over the Indiana Fever at T-Mobile Arena.
But before scoring 24 points and grabbing seven rebounds, Wilson stole the spotlight with her tunnel walk, dressed like she was headed to a fashion show.
The Aces’ official Instagram gave fans a glimpse of Wilson’s pregame entrance. She wore a black-and-white zebra print suit with gold-button details, cropped pants, white high heels, hoop earrings, a watch and sunglasses.
In a short video clip, she confidently walked the tunnel like a runway, bringing model energy before she even touched the court. Fans didn’t hold back in the comment section.
“A’ja looks fabulous!” one wrote.
“Fire fit, game face ON!” another shouted.
“Super model ,” a user claimed.
Someone else said, “Excuse me!!! ” as others called for her signature casual look: “We need white tee A’ja right now, but this is .”
One comment said, “Those .”
Wilson’s tunnel fit set the tone for a statement win. Though both she and Caitlin Clark struggled with shooting early, Wilson still posted strong numbers—24 points, seven boards, two blocks and two assists.
With the game tied 69-69 in the fourth quarter, the Aces went on a 9-2 run to pull ahead for good. Wilson’s teammates also stepped up. Jackie Young had 19 points and seven rebounds, while Chelsea Gray added 18 points.
Clark had 19 points and 11 assists but struggled again from deep, shooting 1-of-10 from three-point range. Aliyah Boston led the Fever with 26 points and 10 rebounds.
“That is not a normal A’ja Wilson night. We are gonna be back,” Wilson told ESPN in her postgame interview, then added with a smile, “Sorry if you had to see that, but we got the dub!”
