Aces work to keep win streak alive against Atlanta on Wednesday

After clinching a playoff spot and their eleventh straight win, the Las Vegas Aces (25-14) are on the hunt for win number twelve against the Atlanta Dream (24-13) on Monday, August 27 at 4:30 pm PT.

The game will be televised locally on Vegas 34, streaming on WNBA League Pass and NBA TV.

With a win over Chicago on Tuesday, the Aces clinched their ticket for the playoffs for a seventh straight playoff berth with just five games left in the regular season.

The Aces are 2-0 against Atlanta this season. With a win against Atlanta on Wednesday, the Aces could tie a franchise record of 12 wins, which was set by the San Antonio Stars in the 2012 season.

Las Vegas holds the league’s longest winning streak at 11 since the All-Star break. This week, A’ja Wilson earned the league’s Player of the Week honor on Tuesday and her fifth time receiving the honor this season.

Atlanta has won 9 out of their last 11 games, with one of those loses came against the Aces. As a team, they are averaging 83.2 points per game.

The Dream are led by Rhyne Howard, Allisha Gray, and Brionna Jones. Howard is averaging 16.2 points per game, while Gray is averaging 18.8 points per game. Brionna Jones is averaging 12.7 points per game.

Rhyne Howard did not play in the last game against the Aces. The Aces lead the series against Atlanta 26-13 and are 10-11 on the road.

The regular season is winding down for the Aces. They have a rematch against the Minnesota Lynx on September 4 and a pair of games against the Chicago Sky on September 7 and September 9.

All three-games will be played at the T-Mobile Arena.
