A’ja Wilson stuns with pink hair in leu of the A’one release by Nike

As A’ja Wilson’s career has blossomed into one of many accolades and superstardom, she enters into her eighth season with a new and eye-catching look.

On Thursday, Wilson took to her Instagram story to share a selfie to commemorate the beginning of the approaching WNBA season.

In the story, Wilson is in her Aces jersey and shows off her pink tresses. The new ‘do was matched with shimmering pink eyeshadow, perfectly matching her recent A’One signature show launch with Nike.

There’s never a moment when the star isn’t intentional with anything she does or produces. Aside from physically preparing for the season, Wilson has worked with Nike on the promotion of the sneaker.

During a recent interview with The Athlete Lifestyle on SI, Wilson took the platform behind the scenes of the creative process with Nike.

“My Nike team has done a great job of making sure that my vision comes to life in my shoe,” Wilson said. “And I wanted a shoe for everyone. I wanted to people to feel connected and brought together through my shoe. It may have my fingers on it, but it’s so much deeper than that, and it’s been tons of fun. I’m so glad that people are loving on the pink, because my pink is my favorite color. So it’s a beautiful thing to see just a lot of people coming together from different parts of life, rocking my shoe.”
