The Indiana Fever have now lost two straight games, falling to the Las Vegas Aces.
On Sunday, the Fever faced off against the Aces, looking to climb back from a previous loss. Despite a strong back-and-forth from both teams, Indiana was dealt an 89-81 loss to Las Vegas.
With the loss, Indiana now stands at 6-7 on the season.
The Fever have ridden a rollercoaster of a season, defeating some of the top teams in the league, such as the New York Liberty, but consistency has been an issue.
Despite the struggles to find a rhythm in terms of stacking the win column, the Fever clearly have the talent.
On Sunday, after the Fever lost to the Aces, Indiana announced the "Stat Leader of the Game."
Aliyah Boston earned the postgame honors after posting 26 points and 10 rebounds with a 63.2 field goal percentage.
Boston reacted to the news on social media, reposting the Indiana Fever announcement and sharing it with her followers.
Despite the loss for the Indiana Fever, Aliyah Boston had yet another successful game, which should very clearly raise her season averages.
In her third season with the Fever, Boston has posted 13.8 points, 8.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game.
Several other Indiana Fever stars posted credible numbers against the Las Vegas Aces.
Kelsey Mitchell finished the game with 20 points, two rebounds and two assists. Caitlin Clark capped off the game with 19 points, three rebounds and 10 assists.
Indiana struggled in terms of bench production, getting just eight points from their role players, such as Sophie Cunningham and Brianna Turner.
