The Indiana Fever play the Minnesota Lynx in the 2025 Commissioner’s Cup Final on Tuesday inside the Target Center in Minneapolis.
In their last game on Friday, against the Dallas Wings, forward Aliyah Boston scored 21 points and snagged six rebounds. However, All-Star guard Caitlin Clark was absent from the 94-86 triumph with a groin injury, which will also sideline her on Tuesday.
However, during practice, Clark and Boston were all smiles and laughter as they engaged in a half-court contest alongside the rest of their teammates. Clark can be seen in a video posted to X nailing a half-court shot that earned a reaction from Boston.
“Get out of the way, you’re not playing,” Boston told Clark because she didn’t want the shot to count.

Boston has also been preparing for the Fever's game against the Lynx. She is averaging 15.9 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 16 games this season. But with Clark sidelined, the Lynx can focus more of their defensive effort on Boston.
All-Star forward Napheesa Collier is averaging 24.4 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.5 blocks per game for the Lynx.
Meanwhile, guard Kayla McBride has contributed 15.8 points, 3.6 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.
The Lynx have a 14-2 record while the Fever are 8-8 heading into the Commissioner's Cup Final, which is schedule to tip off at 8 p.m. ET and will stream exclusively on Prime Video.
