With Caitlin Clark still sidelined due to a groin injury, Aliyah Boston and the Indiana Fever still came out as the 2025 WNBA Commissioner's Cup champions.

On Tuesday night, Boston and the Fever defeated Napheesa Collier and the Minnesota Lynx 74-59, securing the first Commissioner's Cup championship in franchise history.

Boston finished the night with 12 points on 5-of-15 shooting and 11 rebounds. Natasha Howard was named the game's MVP with 16 points on 4-of-10 shooting, 12 rebounds and four assists.

With 3:55 remaining and the Fever leading by double digits, Boston went 1-on-1 with Collier, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year. After a series of post moves, Boston drew a foul on Collier.

Following the play, the two stars exchanged words before teammates stepped in to separate them. No technical fouls were assessed.

WNBA fans took notice of Boston and Collier's heated interaction, taking to social media to leave their thoughts.

"Getting mad cuz you pushed her is so funny. Aliyah a comedian," one fan said.

"Yesss AB!! That’s the (expletive) energy!!" added another.

"Obv offensive foul, but I’m loving this assertive AB. Keep doing it till they call it," wrote a third.

"All the bigs hate AB," claimed a fourth.

"Man I love when AB give this energy," posted a fifth.

"Good job Aliyah talk that talk!!!" added a sixth.

With the win, each Fever player will be heading home with a $30,000 bonus, while Howard earned an additional $5,000 for winning MVP. Lynx players all received $10,000 for making the championship game.

Up next for the Fever, a battle with A'ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. ET.
