Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky were matching up against the Minnesota Lynx on Tuesday.

The matchup against the Lynx marks the Sky's first official preseason game. They kicked off the 2025 season action with an exhibition game against the Brazil national team, but a matchup against Minnesota mark the official start.

Reese, who will be active for the game against Brazil, missed practice on Monday for "personal reasons."

The Sky star attended the 2025 Met Gala. She spoke on her journey throughout the past weekend, missing practice, while celebrating her 23rd birthday and appearing on the runway at the Met.

"I'm living off vibes," Reese said, per Julia Poe. "I think I can operate on four hours of sleep, so I was good there. I've been going since LSU. We played LSU. I had my birthday party Saturday. I left on Sunday for the Met, got ready yesterday and then came back. I got back at 2:00 this morning. Just trying to maximize everything."

In the matchup against the Brazil national team, Reese's first action back since her rookie season with the Chicago Sky, the talented forward posted 15 points, 10 rebounds and one assist.

She helped lead the Sky to an 89-62 victory over Brazil in the exhibition game.

Last season with the Chicago Sky, Reese also attended the Met Gala. She's been vocal about her influence on and off the court, emphasizing that she's more than an athlete.

With the Sky last season, Reese posted 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game.
