The Chicago Sky are still trying to figure things out, but forward Angel Reese isn't.
On Tuesday, the two-time All-Star continued her historic run during a matinee 81-79 road loss to the Washington Mystics.
Reese finished with a game-high 22 points and 15 rebounds and added four assists and a steal on 5-of-9 shooting, going 12-of-15 from the free-throw line.

Despite Reese's monster performance, the Sky (5-13) lost their second game in a row and seventh in their last 10 games. Through 18 games, Chicago has the league's second-worst record, ahead of only the Connecticut Sun (2-16).
The season hasn't gone well for the Sky, but Reese's bounce back from a frustrating start has been a silver lining. During Chicago's first seven games, Reese struggled offensively, averaging 9.1 points on 30.9 percent shooting.
Since June 10 (11 games), Reese is shooting 47.2 percent and averaging 15.7 points per game.
She's been a rebounding machine over her past six games, averaging 17 per game and recording at least 15 in each game. Per Across the Timeline, no other player in WNBA history has more than three consecutive games with at least 15 rebounds.
Reese also has the second-most double-doubles (38) by a player before their 24th birthday, six more than Candace Parker and Aliyah Boston and only trailing 2012 MVP and eight-time All-Star Tina Charles (63).
The 2023 LSU national champion has established herself as a franchise cornerstone, but the Sky have concerns surrounding her, particularly on the perimeter. Chicago ranked ninth in three-point shooting (32.9 percent) entering Tuesday and averaged a league-high 15.5 turnovers per game.
The Sky have legitimate flaws, but Reese isn't one of them. She's been one of the league's hottest players for the past month and has shown no signs of cooling down.
