Angel Reese has an Adventure Filled 23rd Birthday

It’s been a whirlwind 24 hours for Angel Reese. In addition to serving as a member of the host committee for the 2025 Met Gala, she was back in Chicago on Tuesday to start in the Sky’s second preseason game. Keep in mind, Angel is also celebrating her 23rd birthday today.

Earlier today at the Sky’s shootaround, she talked to reporters on how she’s keeping it together during these hectic couple of days. As shared by Julia Poe on X, Angel said, “I’m living on vibes. I think I can operate on four hours of sleep. I’ve been going [nonstop] since [the Sky played at] LSU. I had my birthday party on Saturday…I got back at 2:00 am this morning. Just trying to maximize everything…I’m looking forward to my day off so nobody call me.”

Angel Reese on her hectic weekend: “I don’t know how I’m doing this. I’m running on vibes.”

Last night, Angel impressed in a Thom Browne designed elegant gown. Browne also designed exquisite outfits for Nicki Minaj, Janelle Monae, Saquon Barkley, Trevor Noah, Demi Moore and Lorde.

On the red carpet, Angel was asked to describe her look for the evening. She said, “Versatile, chic, classy, tailored, tea.”

All of these extra curricular activities haven’t slowed down Angel’s production on the basketball court. In her first preseason game, which was a return to Baton Rouge, Reese had a double double, scoring 15 points and pulling down 10 rebounds in a Sky victory.

Tonight at halftime, Angel is off and running once again. She had 7 points and 5 rebounds in Chicago’s preseason home opener against the Minnesota Lynx.
