Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky have fallen to 9-30 on the 2025 WNBA season, being eliminated from the playoffs for a second straight season. Despite missing 10 games this year, Reese had another All-Star level season, averaging 14.6 points, 12.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game.

Reese has been a part of numerous different ventures outside of the WNBA. Early in 2025, she joined the Rose Basketball Club for the inaugural 3-on-3 Unrivaled season. Not to mention her popular podcast, "Unapologetically Angel."

But Reese wasn't done there. On Monday, The Hollywood Reporter's Chris Gardner revealed that Reese had a cameo in the Netflix film "A House of Dynamite," starring Idris Elba. The film premiered on Tuesday and was also shown on the big screen at the Venice Film Festival (Italy). Reese had a scene with Elba playing herself.

"Angel Reese can now say that she’s starred on the big screen at the Venice Film Festival," Gardner wrote on X. "The WNBA superstar has a surprise cameo in Kathryn Bigelow’s nuclear disaster thriller A House of Dynamite, a Netflix film that had its world premiere Tuesday evening. Angel has a scene playing herself opposite Idris Elba as the president of the United States..."

Shortly after news broke, Reese reacted to her movie debut with a simple message on X.

"welp the cat is out the bag ," Reese wrote.

While this may be Reese's first movie appearance, she has been featured in other projects. According to IMDB, she appeared in the short “NBA Finals: The Toast” and in a music video from Latto and NLE Choppa.

Up next for Reese and the Sky, a home battle with the Connecticut Sun on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. ET.
