Angel Reese Shares Message for Aces Star

The stars are aligning for the start of the 2025 WNBA season, which starts Friday. Fans and players are excited for the new start of the season.

Players have been teasing fans with behind-the-scenes footage and access via social media.

On Friday, Las Vegas Aces star Chelsea Gray shared some content on her Instagram page from Aces media day.

“About that time

,” wrote Gray on her caption. “#Year11.”

Gray posted pics with teammates Jewell Loyd, Jackie Young, and A’ja Wilson. She even shared photos of her toddler son, Lennox, born in 2024.

It didn’t take long for WNBA players and fans to interact with Gray’s post.

Among the loving and supportive comments was second-year Chicago Sky star, Angel Reese.

“my great grannyyyyyy

,” Reese wrote playfully. In another comment, the LSU standout added, “omgeee Lennox is sooo cute

,” gushing over Chelsea Gray’s son.

Gray and Reese developed a budding friendship during the 2025 Unrivaled season as the two were teammates. They’ve interacted on social media frequently as friends often do.

It’s an example of friendships that players on different teams build on and off the court.

Rae Burrell of the Los Angeles Sparks also commented, along with basketball legend Lisa Leslie.

The Aces start their quest for a championship on Saturday, May 17 against the New York Liberty at 1pm ET.
